g77 can't handle most optimizations, esp. machine-specific ones, through the
FFLAGS env variables.

I am attaching a revised ebuild which employs stip-flags.

Hi Sourav.

Thanks for the suggestion, I committed the change. No revision bump, as this is a compile-time problem.
