Hi, I am running several Samba 4 based Active Directory Domain Controllers in a production environment. Every now and then a new samba bug pops up that often could be fixed with a backport patch from upstream. However, the "epatch_user" line disappeared from the src_prepare section of the ebuild a while ago. Thus I propose, either a) to re-introduce epatch_user to the production ebuilds or b) set up a tracker bug that catches critical upstream patches. I'd be happy to contribute to the latter if the former is not feasable for some reason. However, for me it's a big blocker not to being able to just add some critical patches on demand.
