I've edited my own ebuilds a bit trying to get amd64 scim Chinese to work, but
haven't been very successful.  I'm willing to try to be of some help, but I'd
like to get the scim Chinese support into stable on amd64

It works for me. I've put it and the required deps into ~amd64. More scim stuff
will follow..
