This new release solves all the current problems with flint and doesn't need any patch to install and pass tests on most systems. It also has a soname set upstream which would resolve #470732.

Ebuild available from the sage-on-gentoo overlay:

Note that this ebuild set a subslot for the many applications that builds against it in the sage-on-gentoo overlay.
