x11-wm/enlightenment-0.19.6 is out. Renaming 0.19.4 to 0.19.6 and removing the patch reference compiles fine. I have some issues with enlightenment_fm using 100% of one CPU and gobbling up RAM at ~30MB/s until I kill it when it uses 8GB RES RAM, but I had these issues with 0.9.14 too which is the whole reason I tried updating. Reproducible: Always
I worked around the issue by adding --disable-mount-eeze to E_ECONF.
Meanwhile version 0.19.7 is available, I just used the same ebuild as 0.19.4 and it works. I did use the latest versions (1.14.2) of EFL and Elementary too, which are also just copies of the last ebuilds in portage. I put the ebuilds up in my overlay for easy installation in case anyone is interested: https://github.com/MathyV/gentoo-overlay-mathy
There is 19.8 now and efl 1.15.
I compiled =dev-libs/efl-1.15.0 =x11-wm/enlightenment-0.19.8 without issues. Ebuilds attached, though I don't follow neither program's development and am unaware whether the ebuilds need any updating, config flag changing, dependency changing, etc.
Created attachment 408358 [details] efl ebuild with support for beta versions
Created attachment 408360 [details] enlightenment-0.19.8 ebuild with --disable-mount-eeze
I updated my overlay, again just renaming the ebuilds worked, there are some QA issues that need checking out though (invalid configure options) that I didn't notice with the previous version.
should be all set now in the tree; thanks for the report! Commit message: Version bump http://sources.gentoo.org/x11-wm/enlightenment/enlightenment-0.19.8.ebuild?rev=1.1
