Hi, me again ;-) xine-lib-1_rc5 and xine-ui-0.99.1 compile on ppc64 inclusive this dependencies: media-libs/giflib-4.1.0-r3 media-libs/a52dec-0.7.4-r1 media-libs/libmpeg3-1.5.2 dev-libs/DirectFB-0.9.20 media-libs/libsdl-1.2.7-r1 media-libs/libdvdcss-1.2.8 media-libs/xvid-1.0.1 dev-libs/libxml-1.8.17-r2 media-libs/libogg-1.1 media-libs/libvorbis-1.0.1-r2 x11-libs/gtk+-1.2.10-r11 media-sound/xmms-1.2.10-r5 media-libs/flac-1.1.0-r2 media-libs/libfame-0.9.0-r1 media-libs/xine-lib-1_rc5 net-misc/curl-7.11.0 media-video/xine-ui-0.99.1 I'm using gcc-3.4 Markus
Well... I gues xmms got emerged, because I had xmms in my use flags, so it was a dependency of media-libs/flac-1.1.0-r2... Markus
xine-ui-0.99.2 also working! Markus
xine-lib-1_rc5-r2 works, too... Markus
you cannot use CFLAGS="-mcpu=970 -O3 -pipe -fsigned-char -mabi=altivec" (same CXXFLAGS).. compile will fail (for me) using instead "-O3" will give you no errors while compiling :-) Markus
hmm... xine-lib and xine-ui compile.. yea, but they won't work correct :-( Some unwanted quits and I'm not able to play many videos... Well, someone (me?) should report this to the xine-lib development team. I will do this when I'm back from holidays and nobody else did it :-) Markus
Thanks Markus!
commited .. will have to watch it ... but stick a fork in this one!
