i installed csound 6.04 with the python and csoundac USE flags activated. 
the modules are built but not installed, they remain under /var/tmp/portage/ :

$ equery f csound | grep python
/var/tmp/portage/media-sound/csound-6.04/homedir/.local/lib64/python2.7
/var/tmp/portage/media-sound/csound-6.04/homedir/.local/lib64/python2.7/site-packages
