Find attached an ebuild for the BNF Converter. I am not sure it should go into dev-haskell, because it's not a tool specifically for Haskell. But it's written in Haskell. I don't know ... dev-util may be appropriate also. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

I would vote for another category, as I see dev-haskell reserved for Haskell-specific tools. darcs is in dev-util, for example ...
Is anything happening with this ebuild? Just wondering ... In case anyone cares: I agree, dev-util would probably be a better category for the package.
Hmm, I guess the problem here is that the bug is assigned to george. I don't know why, actually. It probably should have been assigned to me. george, do/did you want this one for some reason. Should I look at it? ks
Sorry about that, - I did not really get to this one with all the thesis-writing and interview travel I was doing last few month. But I will have some more free time now and I'll get back to my bugs for real :). As for this one, it should be assigned to haskell herd, however looks like we do not have a working alias for this herd :(. So, meanwhile I'll reassign it to you Andres; its all yours.. George
Created attachment 42592 [details] System output showing pdflatex warnings I successfully used the supplied ebuild to install bnfc. I tested the built program using the JavaletteLight.cf grammar. It appeared to work correctly. Note that there were several warnings from pdflatex, as shown in the attached log. I don't know if these are local problems, general problems (to refer upstream), or meaningless messages.
These warnings are harmless. LaTeX is just drawing attention to non-optimal formatting in the document (underfull boxes, etc.). You can ignore safely those.
I've finally added this package as dev-util/bnfc. Thanks for your patience, Peter. Thanks for your help, Howard. ks
