Description:   Opened: 2004-06-15 16:54 0000 
primer3 is a program for picking PCR primers. It is very sophisticated,
considering positional constraints and criteria such as primer-dimer
possibilities, and, of course, primer length, CG content, melting temperature,
and PCR fragment length.

EMBOSS, which is already in Portage, requires primer3 for the eprimer3 program.
