app-portage/elogviewer-0.6.2-r3 is the last version that supports the gtk+ frontend. It has users that still want this version. Please stabilize so we can remove the older 0.5.2-r2 ebuild using the old python eclass. Reproducible: Always

As the author, may I ask why? 0.6.2 is from 2010 and therefore is gtk2, python with old-style classes and print statement (and therefore not python 3 friendly) and has less features. I am now working on unit-testing elogviewer 2 and getting rid of noncritical bugs. Do you know why anyone would like to stay with an older version?—This is a genuine question. I am happy to have users in any case!
There are users of the gtk interface version that have requested it be kept. When I removed 0.6.2 last summer, there were requests to re-add it. Paul updated the ebuild and re-added it. So, this stabilization will allow us to remove the older versions using the deprecated eclasses. If I wasn't already overloaded with projects, I wouldn't mind working on a gtk interface for it. But I already have several projects being neglected :( So, unless there is an updated version with the gtk interface. We'll keep the last version with the gtk interface in the tree as long as it continues to work.
