bind 9.2.2-r2 (and maybe other versions previously), running on AthXP(2004.1) <- probably irrelevant. named.ca (/var/bind/named.ca) is an ancient version. "last update: Nov 5, 2002" There has been at least one (possibly, two or at the outside, three - though that might have been a dream<g>) root nameserver updates since that date. With the most recent being in Jan 2004: ftp://ftp.internic.net/domain/named.cache -> "last update: Jan 29, 2004" Next time you super guys do a bind update can the most up to date named.ca be added? Whilst not a major issue, (as anyone can download and update in 10 seconds), i'll bet most have not spotted or checked recently. Cheers
