Since this uses the flags in a bit special way, I would like to see your suggestions on how to replace the flags :). I'm specifically wondering about 'sse2_4way'. @blueness, your co-maint doesn't seem to be on bugzie.
These haven't been USE flags for BFGMiner for a while... not in any supported version by now.
Could we remove the old versions then, please? If you don't mind that, please either list the versions to be removed here or submit a pull request at [1], and I can commit that for you. [1]:https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo-portage-rsync-mirror

It looks like the x86 arch alone is holding 2.5.0 in the tree. 3.10.8 is a bugfix-only bump for 3.10.5 and 3.10.7, but if I understand current Gentoo policies, even bugfix-only bumps need arch testers to do the stabilisation? These are current releases: 3.10.8, 4.10.1, and 5.0.0. These are held back for keywords: 2.5.0 and 3.10.5. These can be removed immediately: 3.10.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2, 4.8.0, 4.9.0
