Kdevelop-4.6 have some wanted improvements and it's in the tree for a while. Please, stabilize it Reproducible: Always
Why don't we go for 4.7.1? It has been in the tree for a couple of months now and has been one of the most stable KDevelop releases for me.
4.7.1 is broken. See bug 544410 I've been using 4.7.0 for a while without problems but it was removed from the tree when 4.7.1 came up. How about bringing back 4.7.0 as stable instead?
We can't hold off forever. 4.7.1 is recommended by upstream and included in stable of a number of other distros.
(In reply to Michael Palimaka (kensington) from comment #3) > We can't hold off forever. 4.7.1 is recommended by upstream and included in > stable of a number of other distros. should bug 544410 block this one or arches CCed finally then?
I filed an upstream review request to get some feedback about the patch for bug #544410. We can give them a short time to comment and hopefully integration, but I don't think we can block stabilisation for too much longer.
