Created attachment 391524 [details] Patch to add v8.6.0 to portage Hi, app-admin/rsyslog-8.6.0 is now ready for the tree. Please see the attached patch (or feel free to pull from my overlay, http://git.io/qxIlwg). - Changelog, http://www.rsyslog.com/changelog-for-8-6-0-v8-stable/ - Upstream has a new release and version schema, see http://www.rsyslog.com/rsyslogs-new-release-cycle-and-versioning-scheme/ for more information. - The patch contains two ebuilds, one fore 8.6.0 and a new live ebuild to build. - The ebuild now supports epatch_user. - The ebuild now supports testings. But it is restricted for v8.6.0 due to an invalid release tarball (see http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.sysutils.rsyslog/15809/focus=15848 for details). With 8.7.0 relase (scheduled for January 2015), FEATURES=test will be finally supported!
