Hi,

Please add this patch https://launchpadlibrarian.net/188362011/lenovo-ultradock.patch
to gentoo kernels. 

Without this patch there is no audio from docking station output. 
Tested on x240 with 3.17.6-aufs. Works perfect.

The patch posted was not Acked upstream and changes were requested.

Patches should come from Linus' development tree or at least the official subsystem tree.

Patch from kernel tree looks simpler, but do the same.
I tested it on my config (x240 3.17.6-aufs) and works well too.
