Hi!

There is a bug both in tob 0.26 itself and in the corresponding tob-0.26.ebuild preventing tob from working with scsi tapes. For the ebuild part: it doesn't create the TOBLIST directory 
/var/lib/tob

The attached "tob-0.26.ebuild.diff" should fix the problem. In "gentoo.output.txt" you can see the effect of the patch.


For the tob part I mailed a diff today to tob@tinyplanet.ca. The bug was introduced from 0.25->026.
For those who don't want to wait for tob 0.27 or so to verify the ebuild patch I attached the diff as "tob.0.27.diff" and the corresponding output change as "tob.output.txt".

In the newest source code base, which Debian calls tob_0.26.cvs.20040226
(testing/unstable), the bug has already been fixed.

As version 0.27 is still not available, I have created an updated version
0.26-r1 that includes these changes.
