So the idea is to: 1. revbump app-shells/bash-completion to 2.1-r100 to ensure that everyone gets the news item, 2. commit the news item, 3. stabilize the following packages: app-shells/bash-4.3_p30-r1 alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 ppc ppc64 sparc x86 app-shells/bash-completion-2.1-r100 alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 ppc ppc64 sparc x86 app-shells/gentoo-bashcomp-20140911 alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 ppc ppc64 sparc x86 @base-system, ok to stabilize that? Or do you prefer backporting the bashrc.d change to 4.2*? @shell-tools, anyone minds stabilizing new bashcomp and gentoo-bashcomp? There are no major issues so far, and we fixed a few. @qa, CC-ing in case you have something to add for quite a big change to Gentoo :).
Maybe it would be faster to backport it to 4.2.x :/

@base-system, do you need a specific bug for bash-4.3 or something that could help to unblock this finally?
(In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #3) if you want to stabilize bash-4.3, please create a bug specific for it
(In reply to SpanKY from comment #4) Just done, thanks
