wine-staging-1.7.31.tar.gz not exists at the moment, but wine-1.7.30 is working with the trivial ebuild rename. 1.7.29 has a nasty regression, Diablo3 not working well (at least with nvidia gpu), 1.7.30 fixed it, I hope at least 1.7.30 will be merged in the tree soon, I use it for 1-2 weeks now without problem. (Diablo3, Starcraft 2)
Mesa 10.4 has pulled the code for the Gallium d3d9 state tracker today, could this wine ebuild include the according patch to make use of it? http://ixit.cz/faster-wine-games-with-open-source-drivers-d3d9-aka-gallium-nine/ https://wiki.ixit.cz/d3d9 http://download.ixit.cz/d3d9/
tested 1.7.31 working fine. requires gecko/mono versions 2.34 and 4.5.2 respectively. compholio and pulse patches not tested.
Version 1.7.32 is now available: https://www.winehq.org/announce/1.7.32

still no wine-compholio patchset for 1.7.33 out, but at least the original upstream parts do work.
wine-staging 1.7.33 is available: https://github.com/wine-compholio/wine-staging/tree/v1.7.33 https://github.com/wine-compholio/wine-staging/archive/v1.7.33.tar.gz I patched my ebuild as per bug #530208 tested with the pipelight use flag and without the pulse use flag.
