I've spoken with him and he's been doing lots of great work helping out with the ppc64 platform. As such, I would be happy to mentor him into gentoo and he'd be happy to help us on our question for global domination .. or at least drinking beer.
For a start I don't drink beer, just don't like it. World domination is fine. I will walk the path with gentoo as long as it's compatible with mine. And if gentoo doesn't change direction my grand kids will have Gentoo on their machines. and if you don't give me dev I will keep on hammering your rsync mirrors for every patch tgall or lv ask me to test...

Just aquestion ... Step 5 is done after the evaulation period or before ?? I am kind of waiting that I can at least read the cvs and stop hammering the rsync mirrors. Yes, I have been rather slow lately, I've kept an eye on the security stuff of Mediawiki. I also noted that my bug mail filter sent it in a folder that didn't update it's count of unread email. Bad bad thing. I can clean up mediawiki a bit more and then I can keep my eye(with updated mail filter) open for bugs coming. I'll be more in a passive mode as in responding to bugs than forward active, at least for another 3 or 4 months.

Just retire me for now, The machine I have for gentoo is still broken, they say it might come back this week. But I don't believe in it. I will also have a terrible May period, so I have no time till June. Because of new work conditions I can't use the work machines to maintain gentoo, or at least it is better to keep those 2 separate.
