Description Sven 2014-10-31 18:18:10 UTC
Installing ghostscript on my minimal server installation of Gentoo is overkill. I just want ettercap, without the PDF documentation if necessary.

The dependency on ghostscript might be optional already:
https://github.com/Ettercap/ettercap/issues/165

If not, there might be a patch upstream somewhere for that.

Reproducible: Always

I agree entirely, testing now
Comment 2 Rick Farina (Zero_Chaos) gentoo-dev 2014-11-02 03:44:52 UTC
It seems that even when built, the pdfs do not get installed. As such, for now I'm disabling it entirely.

I've added ettercap-0.8.1-r1, however, I found a missing dep so I had to drop keywords for ~ppc and ~ppc64. Arch teams, please restore ~ppc and ~ppc64

Why don't you open a new bug report for a new bug?
