This compiler is needed for those wishing to do any serious mucking about with ACPI. Unfortunately the tarball provided for UNIX systems by Intel is incomplete, so I had to pinch a few bits and pieces from the Windows tarball in order to get this to build. It's currently hosted on my college webspace, but I don't have this for too much longer, so getting this onto the mirrors ASAP would be nice... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 32357 [details] iasl-20040514.ebuild This is the ebuild for iASL. There's no documentation apart from a PDF file. I'm unsure whether or not to include this? If so I'll update the ebuild; this is a trivial issue, I just don't know what the accepted way of doing things is with regards PDFs.
Created attachment 32358 [details] License file for iASL iASL uses a proprietary Intel license. I don't know if this is already in portage, but I couldn't find it. So here's a new one for it. If this needs checking with the legal team (if we have one) there could be some delay, so just in case, I'll continue checking against the licenses in /usr/portage/licenses.
Not a kernel module, would probably have more luck being picked up elsewhere...
