Trying to use gschem2pcb fails:

tor daniel/unnamed> gschem2pcb untitled_1.sch

Error: the footprint DIP14 for the device U? does not exist

The file common.m4 is installed in /usr/share/pcb/m4/common.m4 but gschem2pcb looks for it in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/pcb/m4/common.m4.

Oops, I guess that information would help...

It's part of geda, I believe more specifically it's a wrapper for gnetlist.
