Description Alexander E. Patrakov 2014-08-25 16:18:38 UTC
The gcm-picker command is completely non-functional with calibration devices supported by Argyll CMS. The problem is that Gentoo didn't patch it for the Gentoo-specific renaming of Argyll executables.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect a colorimeter such as ColorMunki Display
2. Run gcm-picker from the terminal
3. Press the Measure button
Actual Results:
(gcm-picker:4089): Gcm-WARNING **: failed to get sample: failed to spawn /usr/bin/spotread

Expected Results:
No such error

There is indeed no /usr/bin/spotread on Gentoo systems. There is /usr/bin/argyll-spotread.
