Apache::Gallery 0.8 has been released for a while but nothing is showing up on
the radar.  0.8 works 99% fine by just renaming the 0.6 ebuild, the only issues
I see are:
 - icon files put into /home/httpd
 - /etc/gallery/templates/directory.tpl still references 'folder.png' when it
appears to have been renamed 'agfolder.png'

this is a duplicate of #49660

It may be a duplicate, but the ebuilds attached to that bug deal with apache
and apache2 installations. (It doesn't have the same/correct dependency info as
the current 0.8 ebuild though.)
Could someone look at a merge?

What currently seems to be the 0.8 version (The package seems to have moved from dev-perl to web-apps) is just an copy of the 0.6 ebuild, instead of the 0.8 build which was in dev-perl, as mentioned in bug #49660.

The move I can understand - The degrade of the package I don't. There was quiet a few changes in deps from 0.6 to 0.8.

Web-Apps folks,

When this ebuild was "migrated" from dev-perl to web-apps, many of the supporting files, not to mention a lot of the fixes in the 0.8 ebuild, were lost. Please review the ebuild I am about to attach for web-apps compliancy - I'm fairly positive my treatment of the apache2 sections is off, but I don't have the expierence to fix. I've dredged up a lot of this ebuild from past version of the 0.8 ebuild prior to the migration, when it had been fixed to accomadate changes. Attachment forthcoming. Please consider adding yourselves to the metadata.xml as well.

with a few mods for deps.

I'll take a look at some point soon. Right off the bat, 

- i thought we are now using if use apache2 instead of if [ "`use apache2`" ]
- insinto /home/httpd/icons/gallery is definitely wrong, i'll patch it to use ICONSDIR from webapp.eclass
- templates should probably go into HOSTROOTDIR as opposed to /etc, unless i'm missing something.

I'll fix it up soon and post here.
