http://weechat.org/news/75/20140815-Version-1.0/ Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 383516 [details] weechat-1.0.ebuild This ebuild is based on 0.4.3-r1 and applies all the useful hints from people in #gentoo-dev-help :) * epatch line can be dropped, the new version already has it in * DOCS files changed names I also had a look into the "test" phase of this ebuild. Tests cannot be used at the moment due to * bugs in the source code of weechat (I'll report these later) and they might appear in 1.0.1 * Missing dependency dev-util/cpputest A functionally working, yet untested ebuild for cpputest is at https://github.com/satmd/gentoo-overlay/blob/master/dev-util/cpputest/cpputest-3.6.ebuild. The SRC_URI somehow needs a ?raw=true argument to get the download working, but also changed the resulting filename. This needs to be checked before actually using that ebuild. Thus I have added comments to the ebuild about the test phase and not enabled these.
There is also a doc build that beckons, as opposed to DOCS
The buxfix release 1.0.1 is now available. http://weechat.org/files/changelog/ChangeLog-1.0.1.html
Any headway on this? It would be nice to be able to use a plugin that requires version 1.0.
Also, weechat-0.4.3-r1 fails to build with glibc-2.20 (#527324), whereas weechat-1.0.1 builds and works fine with the ebuild proposed in this bug.
Bump for 1.0.1 http://weechat.org/news/83/20140928-Version-1.0.1/
I had success in 1.0.1 (not 1.0) for newer gcc and glibc 2.20 https://github.com/weechat/weechat/issues/200 I just copied the attached ebuild and renamed it.
Another +1 for upgrading the version of weechat in portage to 1.0.1 please :)
1.0.1 added to the tree.
(In reply to Tim Harder from comment #9) > 1.0.1 added to the tree. Thank you!
Thanks Tim. Really appreciate the bump!
