And where are they? gnuplot-5.0_rc1 is looking for it, but doesn't fail libcerf is not found. Currently there is no configure option to disable it, but I will eventually prepare a patch. And even if we put it behind a use flag, keywords are needed.

That should help in testing libcerf with something we already have, but shouldn't you make the dependency explicit for now (AND drop those keywords)?

Patch submitted: <https://sourceforge.net/p/gnuplot/feature-requests/399/> Hopefully it will make it in gnuplot-5.0! gx86 version bumped to gnuplot-5.0_rc1-r1 using the patch for libcerf useflag, which is masked on missing archs.
