Description Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-07-14 15:35:54 UTC
please test and stabilize:

=sys-apps/kmod-18-r1
=sys-fs/udev-215

(no need to point it's not full 30 days for 215, purposely skipping 214*, so, stabilizing 215 to get bugfixes 214 needs)

Arch teams, please stabilize in sync with eudev: bug #516524

Would it need systemd-215 in sync too? :/

It's recommended (if not for anything else, then just for the input group modifications to match) but I don't think it's critical

Comment 5 Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2014-07-14 19:25:32 UTC

Comment 6 Anthony Basile gentoo-dev 2014-07-15 15:06:18 UTC
=sys-fs/udev-215 and =sys-apps/kmod-18-r1 are both stable on arm.

=sys-apps/kmod-18-r1 is stable on ppc and ppc64, but =sys-fs/udev-215 fails to build, see bug #517162.
Comment 7 Anthony Basile gentoo-dev 2014-07-16 22:47:14 UTC

Comment 11 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-07-25 13:17:25 UTC
Sorry, CCing some arches back to do -r1 instead (eudev and systemd doing same for this one bugfix)

So, please test and stabilize

=sys-fs/udev-215-r1
=sys-apps/kmod-18-r1 (those who stabilized 215-r0, have this stable already)

Thanks!

This bug is now only for sys-apps/kmod because sys-fs/udev stabilization is happening at bug 522778 for newer version.
