The current version of xmobar in ~amd64 blocks the later versions of the mtl and transformer packages.  

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -uvD world with xmobar installed
Actual Results:  
blocks, have to manually mask mtl and transformers packages

Expected Results:  
Either portage ignores it, keeping the older versions of mtl and transformers held back, or xmobar compiles against the latest versions.
