Description:   Opened: 2004-05-20 09:00 0000
It seems like pikdev, depends on kdelibs at compile-time.

emerging pikdev, when kdelibs isn't emerged give the following output:

checking for rpath... yes
checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

!!! ERROR: dev-embedded/pikdev-0.6.5c-r1 failed.
!!! Function kde_src_compile, Line 118, Exitcode 1
!!! died running ./configure, kde_src_compile:configure

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge unmerge kdelibs
2. ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge pikdev
