Output of recent libreoffice on configure:

* WARNING : native KDE4 file pickers will be disabled at runtime, Qt4 fixes needed

Please consider adding respective fixes...

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Andreas.

What's the urgency of these fixes? Do you need them now (i.e. in 4.8.5) or can you wait for 4.8.6 (which means few weeks to have it unmasked in tree, 2-3 months more for stabilization)?

I would say urgent as LO dialogs are not used if these are not around.

It would be nice to have them soon. According to Tom, the patches are already in use by OpenSuSE, e.g.

Isn't this patch identical to the one in QTBUG-38585 ?

Applied both to qtcore-4.8.5-r2

I'll try to fast-stabilize qtcore-4.8.5-r2 and qtgui-4.8.5-r3 in 1-2 weeks.
