Description Lukas Polacek 2014-05-20 14:48:16 UTC
New version of Spotify is available.

Some comments:
1. Only amd64 available so far.
2. Local playback now works with libavcodec.so.54.
3. Some users have reported problems with the new track change notifications. If you experience problems, you can start the client with "spotify --ui.track_notifications_enabled=false". Sorry for not having this option available in the UI.

I have been using the ebuild for a couple of months with many internal releases without problems.

Reproducible: Always

I have an ebuild ready to commit with the fixes you did and more :D (saw the thread on reddit).

1. The amd64 thing is annoying :( please notify us when x86 is back :D)
2. Local playback with libav doesn't seem to need any change for me
3. End users will have to do this themselves most likely

It also looks like the nss/nspr stuff was fixed (or it for me on my test system). I'm gonna remove that sed hackage as well (along with the LD_PRELOAD/PATH stuff and the symlinking above the udev fix).
