Please consider bumping seabios to version 1.7.4. Renaming the latest ebuild was enough for me.
This also fixed a problem were hvm-virtualization didn't worked anymore with latest xen/seabios. Please have a look at [1] and [2]

cardoe, since now xen depend on system seabios, and this bug also affect xen hvm (bug 510492), so I just bumped to 17.4
