THe service is installed with 600 which results in following dmesg entry 1.882069] systemd[1]: Configuration file /usr/lib64/systemd/system/shorewall.service is marked world-inaccessible. This has no effect as configuration data is accessible via APIs without restrictions. Proceeding anyway. [ 1.890440] systemd[1]: Configuration file /usr/lib64/systemd/system/shorewall6.service is marked world-inaccessible. This has no effect as configuration data is accessible via APIs without restrictions. Proceeding anyway. Is this service installed correctly?
Hi, I am not a systemd user, so I haven't verified it on my own, but according to the comment from Lennart Poettering (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=959483#c8) this is just a notice and should not affect the usage of the service. I'll report this upstream, so this will be fixed with the next regular version. Please correct me if you think this must be fixed ASAP.
(In reply to Thomas D. from comment #1) > Please correct me if you think this must be fixed ASAP. THings are working fine. I just saw this line in my dmesg
Resolved by the version bump to 4.5.21.10 in bug #512850.
