Description Chris Williams 2014-04-30 01:12:03 UTC
Attempting to update to x11-libs/gtk+-2.24.23 from x11-libs/gtk+-2.24.22 was failing in the autoconf phase. On investigation I discovered that the installed version of dev-util/gtk-doc-am-1.19 was not providing adequate/expected symbols for autoconf (and is no longer in Portage). Upgrading dev-util/gtk-doc-am-1.20 (latest) resolved the issue.

The ebuild currently specifies >gtk-doc-am-1.11. It seems that should now be >gtk-doc-am-1.19.

Can you provide the logs with the failure?

Just to clarify, upgrading from dev-util/gtk-doc-am-1.19 to dev-util/gtk-doc-am-1.20 resolved the issue. The original bug title reflected this.
