MakeMKV 1.8.10 was released on 2014-04-14. - Improved handling for discs with mastering errors - Greatly improved conversion speed for multi-segment titles - Small miscellaneous improvements Bug fixes: - During streaming, program could crash randomly - When changing preferences, program could crash randomly Fixes for 1.8.9 regressions: - DVD: some titles were missing (incorrectly identified as fakes) - Blu-ray: discs missing JAR directory failed to open
Installed this manually (emerge -C makemkv and then downloaded / installed latest version from website with it's own procedures). Still have the segfault I've been having for quite some time now. https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=486330 Hasn't been working for quite some time. Tried version 1.8.8, 1.8.9 and 1.8.10 now. According to the other bug it's related to glibc - however debian users with that glibc version report it's working fine for them.

Ferry, Dunno what to tell you -- the makemkv forum is still the best place to go. :T
