Hello all, On setups without librsvg installed icons aren't displayed in gnome-disks. gnome-disk-utility depends on gnome-icon-theme-symbolic, which is a set of SVG icons. Please add a dependency on librsvg in order for the icons to show up. Kind regards, Sebastian Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install sys-apps/gnome-disk-utility-3.10.0, but not librsvg 2. Run gnome-disks Actual Results: SVG icons aren't displayed. Expected Results: SVG icons show up.
Interesting point. In this case, we should also fix the other packages that pull in gnome-icon-theme-symbolic but not librsvg (by my count, that is app-editors/gedit, app-text/gtranslator, dev-vcs/gitg, gnome-base/gdm, gnome-base/gnome-control-center, gnome-base/nautilus, gnome-extra/gnome-documents, gnome-extra/gnome-power-manager, gnome-extra/sushi, gnome-extra/yelp, media-video/gnome-mplayer, media-video/totem, net-im/empathy, net-wireless/gnome-bluetooth and www-client/epiphany)
A bit similar as bug 506684, but not sure how to ensure we don't forget this kind of packages that need to be installed together for being able to run properly :/ (other option would be to make the icon package to install what is needed to be used)
I guess it would be easier to make gnome-icon-themes-symbolic RDEPEND on librsvg since if it is needed at runtime by applications using it.
