If Anjuta is installed with -devhelp USE flag and gnome-base/gsettings-desktop-schemas is not installed on the system, the following errors occur when attempting actions such as opening an XML file:

$ anjuta

(anjuta:28773): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.desktop.interface' is not installed

Trace/breakpoint trap


Reproducible: Always




Installing gnome-base/gsettings-desktop-schemas fixes the problem.

Alternativelly, adding "devhelp" to USE will cause the deep dependencies to pull in the above package.
