Description:   Opened: 2004-05-09 19:46 0000
emerging distcc results in configure giving this error:

checking version of libgnome-2.0... Package gconf-2.0 was not found in the pkg-c
onfig search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gconf-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
Package 'gconf-2.0', required by 'libgnome', not found
configure: error: libgnome-2.0 was not found by pkg-config

!!! ERROR: sys-devel/distcc-2.13-r1 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 365, Exitcode 1
!!! econf failed

Checking on gconf showed that my system had version 1 but not version 2 installed. emerge gconf updated to version 2, distcc then emerged ok

Reproducible: Always
