Created attachment 373504 [details, diff] Possible fix of kopete ebuild kde-base/kopete-4.11.5 with zeroconf use flag enabled does not depend on kde-base/kdelibs-4.11.5 with zeroconf use flag enabled and it should. When kopete[zeroconf] is used with kdelibs having zeroconf disabled, it is unable to use the bonjour protocol. Moreover, kopete[zeroconf] does not depend on net-dns/avahi (which is necessary; kdelibs[zeroconf] do depend on net-dns/avahi). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. USE=-zeroconf emerge -1 '=kde-base/kdelibs-4.11.5' 2. USE=zeroconf emerge -1 '=kde-base/kopete-4.11.5' 3. /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon start 3. start Kopete 4. in Kopete, add Bonjour account and connect it -> Kopete reports: Unable to connect to the local mDNS server.
