Description Jonathan Aquilina 2014-03-25 12:32:09 UTC
I would like to request a version bump for mysql workbench. the current stable version is 6.0.9 with 6.1.3 being of Release candidate quality. I am not sure if 6.0.9 being GA or should we bump to the 6.1 release at this point.

Reproducible: Didn't try

You can get the workbench 6.1 RC source from the above link.

I have gotten some further information from a workbench developer that 6.1 is going to become GA in a few days and he recommended that 6.0.9 be skipped and that the gentoo should bump workbench directly to 6.1

I'm afraid I don't have time to track the non-GA releases. I'll add a 6.1 release once there is a GA release.

I've filed bug 505798 to mark mysql-workbench 6.0.9 stable.

Hi Hans, Should i reopen this bug once 6.1 goes GA in a few days time?
Comment 5 Jonathan Aquilina 2014-03-31 12:31:39 UTC
I just asked in the workbench channel and 6.1 has just been released as the new GA download.

mysql-workbench 6.1.4 is now in the tree.

I'm tracking releases myself so there is no real need to ping me about them.
