I've recently started using http-replicator to avoid downloading distfiles more than once. However, repcacheman rejects any file that is not associated with an ebuild under /usr/portage, even if it comes from an ebuild in an overlay listed in PORTDIR_OVERLAY. (And even if the main portage tree isn't located at /usr/portage !) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set up http-replicator 2. Fetch a distfile for an ebuild that exists in an overlay but not the main portage tree. 3. is this still happening with -r5?
The repcacheman script is installed from the files directory, using the same version of the script for all http-replicator versions, and still hardcodes /usr/portage on line 129.
