Created attachment 372618 [details] gnome-shell-3.10.4-r1.ebuild After installing gnome-base/gnome-light-3.10.0 from the portage repository, after logging in on a system with the nvidia blob installed and multiple monitors are present on the system, severe graphical glitches are immediately present on the main monitor. Windows fail to redraw completely and leave a trail around the screen when moved that blinks at a very fast rate, and shadows seem to burn in on the background. These graphical glitches seem to be limited to the main monitor, and any secondary monitors don't seem to display the same issue. This bug has already been reported and fixed upstream: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=709313 the patch just needs to be applied to the portage tree GPU: Nvidia GTX 760 Drivers: nvidia-drivers-331.49 Kernel: gentoo-sources-3.12.13
Created attachment 372620 [details, diff] Updated ebuild Hopefully I did this right. Unified diff of my modified overlay against the portage tree
Can you simply attach the needed patch? That would be enough and much easier to review Thanks!
