glibc-2.10-hardened-configure-picdefault.patch would normally apply to configure.in

but since with 2.19 this file doesn't seem to exist anywhere

the 2 patch entries are to be applied to the files

configure

and

configure.ac

which contain the needed sections

whether this approach is correct lies in the knowledge of the hardened devs
(no dev, even less experience/knowledge in security - so posting here)


glibc 2.19 compiled fine with those modifications,

reboot & testing in practice is imminent
