Description Koen Geeraerts 2004-05-06 00:41:38 UTC
While trying to upgrade ogre from 0.12.3 to 0.13.1, the emerge aborts in error.

I get the following message :

...
checking for pthread_create in -lpthread... yes
checking for cgCreateProgram in -lCg... no
configure: error:
****************************************************************
* You do not have the nVidia Cg libraries installed. *
* Go to http://developer.nvidia.com/object/cg_toolkit.html     *
* (Click on Cg_Linux.tar.gz).                                  *
****************************************************************

!!! ERROR: dev-games/ogre-0.13.1 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 365, Exitcode 1
!!! econf failed

emerging nvidia-cg-toolkit before emerging ogre fixes this.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge sync
2.emerge -U ogre
3.

Actual Results:
the emerge of ogre aborts in error :

checking for pthread_create in -lpthread... yes
checking for cgCreateProgram in -lCg... no
configure: error:
****************************************************************
* You do not have the nVidia Cg libraries installed. *

!!! ERROR: dev-games/ogre-0.13.1 failed.

Expected Results:
nvidia-cg-toolkit should have been emerged, thus allowing ogre to be emerged
properly
