rpcbind-0.2.1  dies immediately at startup, writing the line below in syslog.
Reverting back to 0.2.0-r1 for now.

"rpcbind: cannot get uid of '': Success"

Indeed, same here.


The “fix” here https://www.mail-archive.com/blfs-book@linuxfromscratch.org/msg23230.html seems to work: add --with-rpcuser=root at configure

Fixed in 0.2.1-r1.
