Description theodor 2013-12-10 18:01:58 UTC
Please add unstable ebuild for version 4.6.0.

Reproducible: Always

In case you needed that for reference.

Renaming kdevplatform-1.5.2.ebuild to kdevplatform-1.6.0.ebuild and kdevelop-4.5.2.ebuild to kdevelop-4.6.0.ebuild (while reming the patch) works for me.
kdevelop-4.5.2-kdevplatform-without-qjson.patch is already upstream
Comment 3 Maciej Mrozowski gentoo-dev 2013-12-15 19:08:48 UTC
Upstream fiddles with buildsystem, and given I found -9999 ebuilds suspicious, I will need to check CMakeLists.txt myself anyway so 'rename' will not just work. Besides eclass needs to be fixed for kdevelop handling as all kdevelop-xxx ebuilds are not the way they should be (this is why I asked to stabilize 4.5.2 so that we can get rid of old kdevelop ebuilds and unify new ones one more time).
Long story short why 4.6.0 is not in tree yet :)
Comment 4 George L. Emigh 2013-12-21 20:28:32 UTC
Are there any ebuilds in a testing overlay somewhere that we can test drive?

Have you noticed any issues by just renaming, I don't want to wait any longer so I'm going to give it a try, just wondering if there are any issues I should be on the lookout for.

Bumped in overlay. @Maciej: file a bug with the specific eclass changes you have in mind so that we can all work on it :)
Comment 7 Johannes Huber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-03-12 12:18:10 UTC
Thanks for reporting. This is fixed in cvs now. Please sync in some hours to get the changes.

@Maciej: Whatever you have in mind do it on the next bump.

@Chris: Please do check linguas next time.
