libvlccore had an soname change in vlc-2.1.0.

!!! existing preserved libs:

 *      used by /usr/lib64/kde4/plugins/phonon_backend/phonon_vlc.so (media-libs/phonon-vlc-0.6.2)


A subslot on vlc + a slot-operator dep on media-libs/phonon-vlc would have resolved this automatically.

Hmm, right, needs phonon-vlc (and other consumers) to change their dependency.

Thanks for reporting. This is fixed in cvs now. Please open new bugs on other consumers.
