This needs to be stabilized together with udev, eudev, systemd all in the same commit because this new version can't be mixed with old versions of any of those.
Arch testers/maintainers: All of hwids, kmod, udev, eudev and systemd *MUST* be stabilized AT THE SAME TIME. There shouldn't be any delay in between stabilizing them, as in, they should all be stabilized in the same time before mirrors sync. See https://bugs.gentoo.org/showdependencytree.cgi?id=487332&hide_resolved=0 for all the bugs that need to be done at the same time.
Stable for HPPA.
alpha stable. Am I wrong, or are the "Depends on" bugs actually blocker bugs?
(In reply to Matt Turner from comment #3) > Am I wrong, or are the "Depends on" bugs actually blocker bugs? It's a bit complex situation, they are basically both... Blockers... and Depends... everything, hwids, udev, eudev, systemd, kmod, and all needs to be stabilized at *the same time* because new hwids has a file that is compatible only with newer udev's and actually cause problems for older udev's Maybe I should have opened one single bug for all of them, but that's too late now. So everyone: All of these depends/blockers of the bug, look at all of them at the same time, test them at the same time, stabilize them at the same time :)
