Description William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2013-10-08 19:03:32 UTC
The OpenRC-0.12 release cycle has gone pretty well, so I think we are
ready to go stable with 0.12.2. This means that netifrc-0.1 has to go
stable simultaneously.

I will add arch's in a day or so once this is ready.
Comment 1 Francisco Blas Izquierdo Riera (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-10-13 21:46:59 UTC
Hi William, there are two open bugs against openrc-0.12 involving usermode linux usage #481096 #485638

It would be good if you stated whether you think they affect stabilization or not.
Comment 2 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2013-10-27 13:00:20 UTC
Looks like it has no remaining blockers :)
Comment 3 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-11-11 16:18:35 UTC

Thanks much.

x86 stable
Comment 12 William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2013-12-01 23:07:56 UTC
Disregard the warnings about possible bashisms in comment #10.
These are false positives; I'm not sure of another way to fix them. If
you know of one, please open another bug.
Comment 13 William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2013-12-21 21:28:57 UTC
Arch teams who are left, can we get some movement on this stable
request?

Thanks much,

William
Comment 14 William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2013-12-31 22:16:35 UTC
All,

please be aware that OpenRC-0.11.8 can be removed from the tree any time
on or after 11-Feb regardless of whether this version has been
stabilized.
Comment 15 William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2013-12-31 23:18:26 UTC
After getting more information, I have found that my previous comment
in this case applies to ia64 only [1].

I can go ahead for ppc/ppc64/sparc if a compile test is enough for you.
Comment 19 William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2014-01-19 19:24:28 UTC
Yes, that should be fine.
