The OpenRC-0.12 release cycle has gone pretty well, so I think we are ready to go stable with 0.12.2. This means that netifrc-0.1 has to go stable simultaneously. I will add arch's in a day or so once this is ready.
Hi William, there are two open bugs against openrc-0.12 involving usermode linux usage #481096 #485638 It would be good if you stated whether you think they affect stabilization or not.
Looks like it has no remaining blockers :)
CCing arches for stabilization as discussed w/ WilliamH at IRC (Freenode)
Arch teams, go ahead and stabilize. Thanks much.

Sorry about the false alarm; the version you want is 0.12.4.

x86 stable
Disregard the warnings about possible bashisms in comment #10. These are false positives; I'm not sure of another way to fix them. If you know of one, please open another bug.
Arch teams who are left, can we get some movement on this stable request? Thanks much, William
All, please be aware that OpenRC-0.11.8 can be removed from the tree any time on or after 11-Feb regardless of whether this version has been stabilized.
After getting more information, I have found that my previous comment in this case applies to ia64 only [1]. [1] http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/council/meeting-logs/20130917-summary.txt
ia64 stable

(In reply to William Hubbs from comment #14) > All, > > please be aware that OpenRC-0.11.8 can be removed from the tree any time > on or after 11-Feb regardless of whether this version has been > stabilized. I can go ahead for ppc/ppc64/sparc if a compile test is enough for you.
Yes, that should be fine. William
