Description Marius Brehler 2013-10-03 16:25:26 UTC
Mendeley was updated to version 1.10.1 on 1st October. The only necessary change is to rename the old ebuild (1.9.2), I tested this within my local overlay.

Anyway I've slightly adjusted the ebuild. As mentioned in the last post in
  http://support.mendeley.com/customer/portal/questions/199131-on-distribution-policy-and-download-link
it is useful to pass the option "--unix-distro-build". With this option Mendeley still shows the 'update available' screen, but it won't offer to install update.
I replaced the symlink /opt/bin/mendeleydesktop by a little script, which is created with an echo call within the ebuild. Hopefully you see this change as a little improvement.

Reproducible: Always

Hi Marius,

Yeah thanks for the patch. I just did a minor modification, for better coherency with other ebuilds it is better to have the launcher script in $FILESDIR.

Thanks!
